New Book Shows How Startups Can Avoid Banks to Find Funding on Their Own

Author shares his knowledge from over 40 years in business to help readers achieve the correct knowledge, skills and disciplines to get results

Author and experienced businessman Paul T. Ayres has written a new book to explain how to fund a startup or business initiative with sources other than banks. The book also hopes to help readers understand sound process fundamentals to ensure success and position a more effective and comfortable payback of funds.

In “Funding Your Future: Beyond Banks,” Ayres shares his ability to reduce risk in applying specific strategies and appropriate leverage through financial creativity. The book assists readers to find out if their business is ready to take on the additional debt, if it’s worthwhile to borrow from the bank, and other sources of money that could be a good fit.

“My passion is the science and art of business and how business, through people, creates and sustains margin; “said Ayres, “not just the margin on your financial statements, but also the off-book margin that creates my stakeholder’s best life.”

Ayres has an Industrial Engineering background, combined with decades of hands-on operational management, from foreman to CEO & COO roles. His extensive background in business includes: acquisitions, manufacturing, financial and accounting, cost control, managing effective boards of directors, strategy formulation and planning, operational planning, utilizing employees optimally, sustaining effective cultures in line with the mission, along with a host of other business segments and experiences, to create the extensive backdrop for the coaching he offers in this book.

“I believe I am called, at this point in my life and career, to help organizations and individuals help themselves;” said Ayres, “to show, as appropriate, both organizations and individuals the way to more margin and more time.”
